Educational BackgroundBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field (Preferred)/ Any Graduate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, chat, and in person.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues related to desktops and laptops.
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
  • Perform hardware and software upgrades as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Document support activities, solutions, and configurations for future reference.
  • Train end-users on the proper use of hardware and software applications.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of hardware and software assets.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Skills Required

  • Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Mac OS and Linux operating systems is a plus.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-oriented attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality support services.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are desirable but not required.

Additional Requirements

  • This position may require occasional evening or weekend work to perform system maintenance or support upgrades.
