Title:  Test Specialist

Description: 

Role Summary

5-7 Years experience in Web / Desktop Testing

•             Automation Expereince using TOSCA is must.

•             Must have Test Lead exposure

•             Agile Experience is a must

•             Working Knowledge on Test Case and Defect Management Tools - JIRA, QTest or equivalent

•             Bring thought leadership in the non-functional to draw and follow firm strategies around     automation testing, performance testing and security testing

•             Extensive knowledge application environments in preparation for testing at various stages

•             Experience of API Testing using any tool is Desirable

•             DevOps- understanding and exposure to DevOps concepts and tools

•             Good Reasoning and analytical skills

•             Good to have Mobile Testing knowledge

•             Good Communication skills

•             Work as a team player / Strong Collaboration

Accountability

                                                                      Core Responsibility

    • Reviews business requirements and provides comments on accuracy and completeness.
    • Contributes to the identification and assessment of risks and exposures.
    • Attends design reviews and understands application and system designs at a basic level.
    • Develops and maintains test plans (including identifying test situations/scenarios) for less complex functions.
    • May be responsible for conducting a test plan review and acquiring test plan signoff.
    • Designs and creates test case documentation including test situations, data setup, execution steps and expected results.
    • Interacts with business analysts/developers and other project team members while developing expected results and verifying results.
    • Executes test cases for various types of testing including function, conversion, integration, intersystem, platform, parallel, stress, or regression.
    • Logs all defects in Quality Center and manages defects until they are closed, approved, or deferred.
    • Provides regular status updates to Test Lead or Project Manager including any known issues or test concerns.
    • Provides input or completes Test Report.
    • Maintains clear communication with Test Lead.
    • Able to work flexible hours and weekends as required.
    • Participates in lessons learned.


 

                                                                 Additional Responsibility

  • Person should be able to
    • 4-6 Years experience in Automation Testing(TOSCA/Selenium) and Functional Testing
    • Should be able to create SQLs.
    • Scripting knowledge / Python Knowledge is a plus
    • Agile Experience is a must
    • Good Reasoning and analytical skills
    • Working Knowledge on Test Case and Defect Management Tools - JIRA, Quality Center or equivalent
    • Good Communication skills
    • Open to work in Shift : 12 PM to 8:30 PM

Eligibility

                                                                      Minimum Qualification

  • 4-6 years of Overall IT experience.
  • College graduate degree from reputed organization
  • Good communication skills.
