About the Job:

Birlasoft is seeking a seasoned Oracle HCM Functional with OTL. A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Shape solutions within Oracle Cloud based on key client requirements following Agile methodology.
  • Configure and test Oracle applications to check that they meet business requirements.
  • Work under a continued improvement culture, challenging ideas and finding solutions to problems.
  • Acts as Oracle Cloud expert and gives advice on best practices regarding commercial processes for Oracle Time & Labor (OTL) and Absence Management (Abs).
  • Able to develop solutions to implement cloud computing affecting OTL and Abs, including project schedules, staffing, scope and key hypotheses.
  • Able to lead configuration of OTL and Abs cloud computing modules, together with the subject matter experts specialized in configuration.
  • Demonstrates experience and expertise in designing and executing tests and implementation and in internal communications and senior management as well as the ability to work autonomously.
  • Follows a work plan and delivers it as per roadmap and Oracle Cloud methodology.
  • Manages clients in respect to the re-engineering of commercial processes, best practices and customizations.
  • Makes suggestions and shares knowledge with others towards optimizing the implementation methodology.
  • Analyzes commercial requirements and develops effective configuration solutions.
  • Guides and documents processes and relevant requirements and obtains acceptance to ensure the client aligns with the proposed solution.
  • Provides information to the designated project manager to ensure detailed planning of the project and acceptance from other key stakeholders of the client.
  • Supports implementation of the technical and functional part of the work.
  • Assumes responsibility to successfully perform tests for the solution developed, including the user acceptance test with users to validate the solution.
  • Documents and follows-up product improvement requests made by the client and the report of anomalies.
  • Coordinates with Oracle regarding service requests and new products distribution and can coordinate the updates and correctives.

Professional Skills

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in consulting services in the human capital management systems area with a focus on Oracle Time & Labor and Absence.
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in completing two deployments of a full lifecycle of the Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud suite, with a focus on OTL and Abs.
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience demonstrating an understanding of the Oracle Cloud human capital management concepts and general module features for OTL and Abs.
  • Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Oracle Cloud Certified in T&L and/or Abs modules.
  • In-depth knowledge of Human Capital Management principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity and ease with IT systems and Microsoft Office products
  • Highly skilled in problem solutions and analysis
