Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled SAP B1 System Integration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating SAP Business One (SAP B1) with our customized Manufacturing Execution System (MES). This role requires a deep understanding of both systems and the ability to create seamless integrations that enhance our manufacturing processes.

 

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP B1 system integration, with a focus on MES integration.

 

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues that may arise during the implementation and operation of the MES platform
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both local & English to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to understand and optimize manufacturing processes

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Integration: Design, develop, and implement integration solutions between SAP B1 and the customized MES system.
  • Customization: Customize SAP B1 and MES to meet specific business requirements.
  • Data Management: Ensure accurate data flow between SAP B1 and MES, including data mapping and transformation.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, production, and quality assurance, to ensure successful integration.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of integration processes, configurations, and customizations.
  • Training: Provide training and support to end-users on the integrated systems.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in SAP B1 and MES systems.
    • Strong knowledge of integration tools and technologies (e.g., APIs, EDI, middleware).
    • Experience with SQL and database management.
    • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and workflows.
    • MES Expertise:
      • In-depth knowledge of MES architecture and functionalities.
      • Experience with MES software such as Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell Automation, or similar.
      • Proficiency in MES configuration, customization, and deployment.
      • Understanding of MES data collection, analysis, and reporting.
      • Knowledge of shop floor control systems and real-time data acquisition.
      • Experience with MES integration with ERP systems and other enterprise applications.
    • SAP B1 Production Module Proficiency:
      • Bill of Materials (BOM): Expertise in defining and managing BOMs within SAP B1.
      • Production Orders: Proficiency in creating, releasing, and managing production orders.
      • Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Experience in planning material requirements based on demand and supply.
      • Capacity Planning: Ability to manage the capacity of production resources for efficient scheduling.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for system integration.
  • Certification in SAP B1 or related technologies.
