About the Job – We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ignition and MES Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and implementing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Ignition SCADA solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of industrial automation, data integration, and software development

  3. Location: Pune, Mumbai, Noida, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad
  4. Educational Background – Any Graduate
  5. Skills Required – Ignition vision and perspective

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of Ignition SCADA and MES solutions.
  • System Integration: Integrate MES with various enterprise systems such as ERP, PLM, and other third-party applications.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, deliverables, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for MES and Ignition systems.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in MES and SCADA development.
  • Training: Train and mentor junior developers and end-users on MES and Ignition systems.

Must Have technical Skills:

  • Minimum 5-6 project implementations experience on Ignition Platform
  • Should have experience in Ignition functionalities for Tags/ Designers, Tag Historian, Alarm Notification, Vision Client, SQL Bridge, MQTT & OPCUA  , MS SQL
  • Scripting knowledge in Python & MS SQL
  • Should have experience in developing OEE, Track & Trace, Quality applications using Ignition Vision/ Perspective/ Sepasoft MES modules
  • Should have experience in Ignition Perspective web browser module
  • Able to work on the Alarms and notifications, Reporting module , recipe handling etc.
    Should have experience on Oracle PL/SQL , MS SQL database, stored procedures, SQL queries and Triggers
  • Should have experience PLC ladder logic development.
  • Good to have experience in Kepware & Ignition Cloud integrations
  • Good to have development experience for Sepasoft MES Modules
