Position

Business Analyst – Consumer Banking

Key Responsibilities

  • Functionality co-ordination across tracks delivering common, re-usable functionality
  • Facilitating open communication between the customer, development & testing team
  • Lead, collaborate and document detailed end-to-end process maps for each operational process within the Consumer Bank
  • Work with operations SME’s and other Consumer Bank cross-functional stakeholders
  • Process maps should include manual controls and risks, data flows/systems, teams involved etc.
  • Develop 1-page summary of each using consistent format
  • Driving user acceptance criteria with the customer
  • Co-ordinate, interact and work with client, third party partners, onsite-offshore team, etc. as per requirements
  • Interact with user representative to understand and document the business requirements and create functional documents.
  • Support, work and co-ordinate with the Test team to ensure coverage of requirements, defect analysis and completion of testing (including UAT)
  • Provide required trainings/ KT to the team.

Profile

  • 10 Years of experience in Retail Banking, Cards & Payments related areas.
  • Experience in working in Card and Payment processing is preferable.
  • Good knowledge of Cards and Payment Life Cycle and awareness of implications of all the stages in the Life Cycle
  • Exposure in working as a functional/ business analyst in a delivery project
  • Should have worked in Waterfall and Agile environment with good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Good knowledge of tools like Visio, JIRA.
  • Self-starter, proactive analyst who will take the initiative to identify key resources and follow up on actions
  • Familiar with Operational processes
  • Should be a good communicator, Detail oriented and a good team player
  • Good interpersonal skills, confidence and ability to interact professionally with people at all levels.
  • Strong business focus including problem resolution
  • Strong written and verbal Communications Skills and presentation skills.
