Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) Architect to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing OTM solutions to optimize our transportation operations. This role involves understanding business requirements, creating system designs, configuring OTM modules, and ensuring the successful deployment of the solution. The OTM Architect will also provide technical leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction for OTM related initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement OTM solutions to meet business needs.
- Integrate OTM with other systems and troubleshoot any integration issues.
- Configure OTM software to ensure it is functioning effectively.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on OTM to clients and team members.
Required Skills
- Software Configuration: The candidate must have a strong understanding of software configuration and be able to manage and maintain system settings.
- OTM Integration: The candidate should have experience in integrating OTM with other systems and be able to troubleshoot any integration issues.
- Oracle Transportation Management: The candidate must have a deep understanding of Oracle Transportation Management and be able to use it effectively to meet business needs.
- The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications would be advantageous.
Preferred Skills
- Consulting: Experience in providing expert advice in the field of OTM would be beneficial.
- Agents & Workflows: Knowledge of agents and workflows in OTM would be an added advantage.
- Project Management: Experience in managing projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Business Analysis: Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into OTM solutions.
- SQL: Knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries.
- Java: Basic understanding of Java and its application in OTM.
- XML: Knowledge of XML and its use in OTM.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems related to OTM.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to team goals.
