SAP BW/BPC Lead Consultant (S/4HANA Carve-Out & BW/4HANA)

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced SAP BW/BPC Lead Consultant with expertise in SAP BW, BW/4HANA, BPC, SAP S/4HANA Carve-Out, Data Warehousing, Reporting, Analytics, ETL, Data Migration, and Financial Consolidation. The role involves leading BW/BPC transformation, extractor redesign, process chain rebuild, reporting validation, and integration activities for large-scale S/4HANA transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP BW/BW4HANA implementations, upgrades, migrations, rollouts, carve-out, and support projects.
  • Analyze and redesign SAP ECC/S4HANA BW extractors, DataSources, ETL processes, ODP extraction, and embedded analytics integration.
  • Design and optimize InfoObjects, ADSOs, Composite Providers, Transformations, DTPs, InfoPackages, Process Chains, and Data Loads.
  • Support SAP S/4HANA migration, BW modernization, data separation, data reconciliation, and cutover activities.
  • Assess and reconfigure SAP BPC Consolidation models, ownership structures, hierarchies, eliminations, currency translation, and financial close processes.
  • Validate and reconcile BW, BEx, Analysis for Office, SAC, financial, operational, and management reports.
  • Integrate SAP BW with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, HANA, BPC, SAC, Datasphere, Open Hub, and non-SAP applications.
  • Perform performance tuning, data validation, defect resolution, SIT, UAT, Hypercare, and production support.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, Basis, and data migration teams to ensure reporting continuity and KPI consistency.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of SAP BW/BW4HANA consulting experience.
  • Expertise in:
    • SAP BW, BW on HANA & BW/4HANA
    • SAP BPC Consolidation
    • SAP S/4HANA Carve-Out & Migration
    • Data Modeling (InfoObjects, ADSOs, Composite Providers)
    • Data Extraction, ETL & Data Warehousing
    • Process Chains, DTPs, Transformations & Data Reconciliation
    • BEx Queries, Reporting & Analytics
    • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
    • Performance Tuning & Optimization
    • Open Hub Integration
    • Financial Consolidation & Reporting
  • Experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, HANA, BPC, SAC, Datasphere, and non-SAP integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise reporting, analytics, and ABAP debugging.

Preferred

  • SAP BW/BW4HANA Certification.
  • 2+ end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and client-facing consulting experience.
