Job Overview

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing beautiful, safe, and functional buildings and structures. You will collaborate with our clients to understand their needs and preferences, create design plans, oversee construction projects, and ensure the final structure is up to code. You will also need to be able to effectively manage your time and communicate with team members and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of new buildings and the renovation of existing ones.
  • Coordinating with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into design plans.
  • Collaborating with engineers, surveyors, and construction professionals to ensure the project is feasible and can be completed within budget.
  • Preparing and presenting design proposals to clients, including detailed drawings and specifications.

Required Skills

  • PLM -PTC Windchill: Proficiency in using this comprehensive product lifecycle management software is essential for managing product data and related processes.
  • AutoCAD: Expertise in using AutoCAD software for creating precise 2D and 3D drawings.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage projects effectively, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field is required.

Preferred Skills

  • Revit: Knowledge of using Revit for building information modeling.
  • SketchUp: Proficiency in using SketchUp for 3D modeling.
  • Adobe Creative Suite: Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • D Studio Max: Ability to use 3D Studio Max for 3D modeling, animation, and rendering.
  • Rhino: Knowledge of using Rhino for 3D modeling.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles.
  • Familiarity with building codes and regulations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
