Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience in API automation testing.
- Hands-on expertise with Rest Assured / Karate / Postman / Newman.
- Proficiency in Java or Python.
- Experience testing REST and SOAP services.
- Good understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, OAuth2, JWT, API security.
- Experience with JSON, XML, Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Hands-on with Git, CI/CD tools, and basic Linux commands.
- Familiarity with database validation (SQL).
Desired Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- UI automation exposure (Selenium/Cypress/Playwright) is a plus.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7–11 years of experience in QA/Automation with strong focus on API testing.
- At least 2+ years in a Lead or Senior Automation role.
- Experience in enterprise‑scale or high‑volume applications preferred.
