Job Title: Blue Yonder Planning Consultant (Functional / Technical)
🌟 Overview
You will design, configure, and implement Blue Yonder supply chain planning solutions, ensuring that clients maximize value from modules such as Demand Planning, Enterprise Supply Planning (ESP), Fulfillment, and Inventory Optimization. You’ll work closely with stakeholders—business users, project managers, technical and third-party teams—to deliver seamless solutions aligned with customer goals and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead workshops, conduct fit-gap analysis, and translate business requirements into solution design using BY modules (D&F, ESP, Sequencing, Order Optimization, etc.).
- Configure and implement BY Planning modules, execute testing (unit, integration, UAT), documentation, and user training.
- Oversee integration architecture—manage data flows between Blue Yonder and ERP/3rd-party systems.
- Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot operational issues, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Communicate with customers: maintain project scope, timeline, risk, and escalations; present solution proposals and enhancements.
- Support business development by identifying upsell opportunities and collaborating on proposals.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5–7+ years implementing Blue Yonder Planning modules in manufacturing, retail, or similar industries.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on with Blue Yonder modules (D&F, ESP, Fulfillment, Sequencing, Order, and Inventory Optimization.
- ERP/Integration Skills: Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP/Oracle, ETL tools, API/data integration.
- Technical Tools: Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Alteryx, scripting, and BI/reporting tools.
- Analysis & Documentation: Strong skills in fit-gap analysis, solution blueprints, functional and technical design documents.
- Testing & Training: Experience with test case creation, execution, and leading user training initiatives.
- Communication: Excellent stakeholder management, including workshops, requirement gathering, and solution presentation.
- Travel: Willingness to travel (typically up to ~50%) depending on client/project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Blue Yonder certification(s) in planning modules.
- Supply chain certifications such as APICS, PMP, Six Sigma.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
- Exposure to cloud-based implementations (Azure, AWS).
- Prior consulting experience and ability to support pre-sales and RFP response efforts.
