Functional knowledge and required skills    
• should have hands on experience writing SQL Queries
• Should have hands on experience on Test management tools like TFS
• Good knowledge in Testing methodology Agile Methodology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Business expertise
Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
Responsibilities    
• Experience in manual functional testing black box grey box testing
• Analyzes requirements coordinate with BA’s Subject Matter Experts.
• Ability to review and understand functional requirements and technical design documents to the extent necessary to develop good test scripts
• Ability to create and execute medium to complex SQL queries
• Identifies test conditions and or creates test cases.
• Conducts and/or participates in peer reviews of test cases and test plans.
• Creates Conditions test data for test execution.
• Executes manual automation tests according to the Test Plans.
• Documents test results and report defects.
• Identifies and reports risks.
• Coordinates Onshore Offshore as needed.
• Manages day to day implementation of test process.
• All assigned courses pertaining to new technical domain learning tasks are accomplished within defined time frame.
• Must have sound understanding of software development and testing life cycle
• Experience in defect reporting and management.
