Title:  Platform Engineer - Technical Lead-Cloud & Infra Engg

Area(s) of responsibility

The Platform Engineer – Job Scheduling focuses on designing, maintaining, and optimizing job scheduling and automation platforms. This includes working with technologies like Automic, Redwood RMJ, Power Platform, and Low-code/No-code solutions. You will manage the development lifecycle of scheduling and orchestration components, ensuring scalability, resilience, and compliance with Pernod Ricard’s global standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and optimize job scheduling and orchestration components aligned with business and global standards.
• Drive feature and product design for scheduling and automation solutions.
• Manage technical testing and roll-out of orchestration elements.
• Oversee patching, upgrading, and incident management for scheduling platforms.
• Collaborate with service delivery teams and external providers.
• Ensure documentation and knowledge transfer for ongoing operations.
• Contribute to engineering best practices and transversal initiatives across teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in job scheduling technologies (Automic, Redwood RMJ, Power Platform).
• Advanced scripting skills: Java, Python, and PowerShell are mandatory.
• Strong understanding of SOAP (Service Orchestration and Automation Platforms).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and API development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Ability to work in global teams and manage multiple priorities.

Additional Desired Skills

• Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms (Power Platform, etc.).
• Strong integration skills across systems and platforms.
• Experience with monitoring and reporting metrics for scheduling and automation systems.
• Exposure to compliance, governance, and audit practices.
