Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Automation Tester to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automation scripts using open source tools. They will also be tasked with identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly, and tracking bugs. The Sr. Automation Tester will play a crucial role in our development process, ensuring that our software functions flawlessly and meets the needs of our clients. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for quality.
Responsibilities
•    Develop and execute automated tests to ensure product quality.
•    Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
•    Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
•    Collaborate with the QA team to develop effective strategies and test plans.
Required Skills
•    Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or TestComplete.
•    Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
•    Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
•    A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Preferred Skills
•    Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
•    Experience with performance and/or security testing.
•    Knowledge of SQL and scripting.
•    Experience with API testing.
•    Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
•    Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure.
•    Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.
•    Experience with mobile application testing.
•    Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
•    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
