Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Prophet models to support various financial reporting and analysis needs.
- Collaborate with actuarial, finance, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement and test Prophet models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Optimize existing Prophet models for performance and scalability.
- Provide technical support and training to users of Prophet models.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Prophet software and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Prophet tool development and model implementation.
- Strong understanding of actuarial principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as VBA, Python, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional actuarial qualifications (e.g., ASA, FSA, FIA).
- Experience with other actuarial software tools.
- Knowledge of insurance products and financial instruments.
