QA Automation Engineer - Playwright (7-8 Years)
Key Responsibilities & Skills
- 7-8 years of Automation Testing experience with basic Manual Testing skills.
- Independently prepare, execute, and maintain test cases.
- Follow QA standards, testing best practices, and quality processes.
- Hands-on experience with Test Management tools such as Spira.
- Strong experience in defect management and defect triage.
- Hands-on experience in Playwright script design, development, and execution using Python.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot Playwright automation issues independently.
- Work proactively on Playwright automation, collaborate with SMEs when required, and provide regular updates.
- Take complete ownership of assigned testing activities and deliverables.
- Quick learner with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Mandatory Playwright Skills
- Hands-on experience with Playwright using Python.
- Experience creating and maintaining automation scripts using the Page Object Model (POM) framework.
- Strong knowledge of Playwright locators, waits, assertions, and debugging techniques.
- Experience with fixtures, hooks, reusable components, and test data management.
