Automation Tester
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cognizant Intelligent Test Scripter, Ready API, and ALM Octane, ensuring high-quality software testing and automation processes. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, collaborating with development teams, and maintaining test frameworks to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
•    Develop and execute automated test scripts using Cognizant Intelligent Test Scripter.
•    Perform API testing using Ready API, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
•    Manage test cases, defects, and reporting using ALM Octane.
•    Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to define test strategies.
•    Conduct performance, functional, and regression testing to ensure software quality.
•    Maintain and enhance automation frameworks for continuous improvement.
•    Identify, analyze, and document defects, ensuring timely resolution.
•    Provide detailed test reports and insights to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
•    Strong experience in automation testing and test script development.
•    Proficiency in Cognizant Intelligent Test Scripter, Ready API, and ALM Octane.
•    Knowledge of test automation frameworks and best practices.
•    Experience with API testing, functional testing, and regression testing.
•    Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
•    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
•    Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience with Selenium, JIRA, or other testing tools.
•    Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
•    Understanding of cloud-based testing environments and services.
•    Knowledge of legacy systems and testing methodologies during application modernization.
