5.    Key Responsibilities – As a Release Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of software release activities. This includes planning, scheduling, coordinating, and the management of releases across the enterprise for multiple applications across various portfolios. The releases can be inclusive of application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades, projects, and programs. You will work collaboratively with all participants in software development projects and will be supportive of developers and testers as they set up their build dev/test environments.

Responsibilities
•    Plan, manage, and coordinate all release and deployment activities.
•    Collaborate with project managers, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient release processes.
•    Identify and manage risks that could affect release scope, schedule, and quality.
•    Monitor progress of releases, provide updates to stakeholders, and ensure that releases are delivered on time and within budget.
Required Skills
•    Release and Deployment: The candidate must have a strong understanding of release and deployment management principles, methodologies, and techniques. They should be able to plan, schedule, and control the movement of releases to test and live environments.
•    Project Management: The candidate should have excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage resources, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
•    Influencer Collaboration: The candidate should have the ability to collaborate effectively with influencers within and outside the organization. They should be able to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
•    A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
