 Job Title: IT Analyst – SAP Plant Maintenance (Equipment Records)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant specializing in Plant Maintenance (PM) and Equipment Master Data Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP PM functionalities, including Equipment Master Record Maintenance, Serial Number Management, and integration with production and procurement processes. This role also involves handling BOM extensions, WPTR file loads, and ensuring seamless data flow to S4 and SNR systems.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP PM Functional Expertise
• Configure and maintain Equipment Master Records and related objects.
• Manage WPTR file loads and ensure accurate BOM extensions to S/4HANA and flow to SNR.
• Handle serial number management during production order receipt and purchase order receipt.
• Manage Handling Units (HU) during goods receipt and production processes.
• Integration & Data Management
• Integrate SAP PM with MM, PP, and FI/CO modules for end-to-end process alignment.
• Ensure accurate synchronization of equipment and BOM data across systems.
• Push product master data to GTS and GATP systems as required.
• Functional Design & Documentation
• Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP PM solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and work closely with ABAP development teams.
• Conduct system testing, UAT, and resolve issues during implementation.
• Training & Support
• Provide end-user training and support for SAP PM functionalities.
• Support post-go-live activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PM configuration and implementation.
• Expertise in Equipment Master Record Maintenance and Serial Number Management.
• Experience with Handling Units (HU) during production and procurement processes.
• Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance processes.
• Knowledge of integration points between PM and other SAP modules (MM, PP, FI/CO).
• Ability to create functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to logistics and warehouse management processes.
• Experience with BOM extensions, WPTR file loads, and data flow to SNR.
• SAP certification in PM module is a plus.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• SAP PM certification preferred.
