Area(s) of responsibility

Key Responsibilities

1) Solution Design & Implementation

Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and process mapping for OTC, distribution, and logistics.

Configure core SD areas:

Sales (Inquiry/Quotation/Order — VA**),

Delivery (VL**),

Billing (VF**), Shipping, Returns, and Credit/ATP.

Design Pricing Procedures: condition types, access sequences, scales, discounts/surcharges, freight, incoterms, route determination, and credit management (classic/FSCM).

Own SPRO configuration, end-to-end WRICEF specs, and collaborate closely with ABAP for build & testing.

2) Distribution & Logistics

Configure delivery types, picking/packing, Post Goods Issue (PGI), transportation planning, route scheduling, and shipment costing.

Integrate with Warehouse (LE-WM/EWM) for picking strategies, HU management, staging; align with Transportation (LE-TRA/TM).

3) Master Data & Controls

Set up Customer/Material Master, Partner Functions, Output Determination, Text Determination, Account Determination.

Implement ATP/Availability Check, Backorder Processing, Dynamic Product Allocation, Back-to-Back/Drop-Ship scenarios.

4) Integration

Integrate with MM (goods movements, intercompany STOs), PP (ATP against PIRs), FI/CO (accounting, revenue recognition, tax), EWM/TM, and external 3PL interfaces.
