Job Title: QA Engineer – API Testing & Tosca Automation

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated QA Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in API Testing, Microservices Testing, and Test Automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Tosca Automation, along with experience validating complex microservices-based architectures. The candidate will work closely with development and business teams in an Agile environment to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for APIs and microservices-based applications

• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites using Tosca Automation

• Validate RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices interactions across multiple systems

• Analyze business and technical requirements to identify test scenarios and coverage needs

• Execute integration testing to ensure seamless communication between applications and services

• Log, track, and manage defects using Jira and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution

 • Maintain test documentation, test evidence, and project artifacts in Confluence

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills

• 4–6 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance

• Strong hands-on experience in API Testing and Microservices Testing

• Mandatory experience with Tosca Automation

• Experience testing REST APIs

• Strong understanding of test design techniques, defect lifecycle management, and quality assurance processes

• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments

• Good understanding of integration testing concepts and methodologies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in the Banking, Financial Services, or Finance domain

• Exposure to modernization, cloud migration, or digital transformation projects.

• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Experience working with cloud-based and containerized applications.
