Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with 4–6 years of expertise in Batch Testing, ETL Testing, and data validation across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience testing real-time, synchronous, and asynchronous batch processes, ensuring data integrity and seamless processing across upstream and downstream systems. The candidate should be comfortable working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test scenarios, and test cases for batch processing applications.

• Validate end-to-end batch workflows, including real-time, synchronous, and asynchronous processing.

• Perform ETL testing to ensure accurate extraction, transformation, and loading of data across systems.

• Conduct data reconciliation and data validation activities to verify completeness, accuracy, and consistency of processed data.

• Execute functional, system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for batch-driven applications.

• Analyze business requirements, technical specifications, and data mappings to identify test coverage and quality risks.

• Validate interfaces and integrations between source systems, middleware, databases, and downstream applications.

• Identify, log, track, and manage defects using Jira, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.

• Maintain project documentation, test evidence, and knowledge repositories in Confluence.

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.

Mandatory Skills

• 4–6 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.

• Strong hands-on experience in Batch Testing and ETL Testing.

• Experience testing real-time, synchronous, and asynchronous batch processing systems.

• Strong understanding of data validation, data reconciliation, and database testing concepts.

• Experience validating complex business workflows involving large volumes of transactional data.

• Ability to analyze data flows and identify data quality issues across multiple systems.

• Hands-on experience with SQL and database querying for data verification and testing.

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), or Finance domain projects.

• Exposure to modernization, cloud migration, or digital transformation programs.

• Experience testing enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, or large-scale data processing systems.

• Familiarity with scheduling and batch orchestration tools such as Control-M, Autosys, Airflow, or similar platforms.

• Understanding of API and integration testing concepts.

• Exposure to cloud-based data processing environments and modern data architectures.
