Senior Business/Technical Analyst – Application Modernization
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to lead the requirements gathering and analysis phase of a large-scale Application Modernization project. The ideal candidate will have expertise in analyzing legacy codebases to extract business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to design modernized solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed analysis of legacy application to identify business rules, workflows, and requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to understand the architecture and functionality of existing systems.
• Translate findings from code analysis into clear and actionable business requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather additional requirements and clarify ambiguities.
• Develop comprehensive documentation, including requirement specifications, process flows, and use cases.
• Partner with development teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented in the modernized application.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies related to the modernization effort.
• Provide regular updates to project leadership and stakeholders on progress and findings.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in large-scale Application Modernization projects.
• Strong expertise in analyzing legacy applications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Visio for documentation and collaboration.
• Ability to work independently with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with reverse engineering tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of cloud migration strategies and modern application architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
