CAD Lead:
A CAD Lead in the PLM area should have a strong combination of technical skills, leadership abilities, and practical experience to oversee and manage CAD-related activities within the PLM framework. The primary responsibilities include leading CAD projects, ensuring the integration of CAD tools with PLM systems, and supporting the overall product development process. Here are the key skills and qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Siemens NX.
- Strong understanding of PLM tools like PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, or Dassault Systèmes ENOVIA.
- Experience with CAD-PLM integration, ensuring seamless data flow between CAD and PLM systems.
- Knowledge of engineering principles, design standards, and best practices in CAD modeling and drafting.
- Familiarity with CAD data management, including version control, data migration, and data integrity verification.
Leadership and Project Management:
- Strong leadership skills to manage and mentor a team of CAD designers and engineers.
- Ability to lead CAD projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Experience in project management, including defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and IT departments.
Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:
