Summary:
A highly experienced Senior Data Engineer with over 10+ years of expertise in Business Intelligence and Data Engineering. This role focuses on designing scalable analytics platforms, optimizing data workflows, and integrating modern data solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Pentaho BI, and Snowflake, with a strong track record of improving business processes, reducing costs, and ensuring timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement scalable analytics platforms using Azure Data Factory and Azure Blob Storage.
• Integrate Snowflake with Azure Data Factory to build efficient data pipelines.
• Develop reusable ETL pipelines to streamline development and reduce costs.
• Participate in PI planning and provide technical task estimations for sprint execution.
• Architect data solutions using Pentaho BI tools for API-based data extraction and movement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Design OLAP cubes, including virtual cubes, shared dimensions, and measures.
• Build interactive reporting systems using Pentaho BI and metadata design.
