Role Summary

The Performance Tester will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests for enterprise-scale applications. The role involves identifying bottlenecks, ensuring system scalability, and collaborating closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to improve application performance and stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop performance test scripts for enterprise applications based on functional and non-functional requirements using NeoLoad
• Create and execute benchmark, load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability tests
• Participate actively in performance bottleneck analysis, root cause identification, and solution recommendations
• Perform Performance Engineering and Performance Optimization activities throughout the SDLC
• Run, manage, and monitor end-to-end performance test campaigns
• Act as Performance Testing SPOC for assigned applications/projects
• Communicate test progress, risks, results, and issues through regular status and summary reports
• Collaborate with Business, Application, Infrastructure, and DB teams to improve overall system performance
• Conduct defect tracking, follow-ups, and closure in coordination with relevant teams
• Ensure proper sign-offs post test execution and reporting
