Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shopify Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex Shopify and e-commerce solutions for our diverse range of clients. You will work closely with our development team and clients to understand their business needs and translate them into functional, reliable, and efficient e-commerce solutions. Your expertise in Shopify's platform, its unique features, and its limitations will be crucial in driving our e-commerce projects to success.
Responsibilities
•    Designing and implementing new features and functionality for Shopify platform.
•    Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture.
•    Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
•    Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
Required Skills
•    Proficient in Shopify platform development and its core principles.
•    Strong knowledge of Liquid programming language.
•    Excellent understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
•    The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
•    Familiarity with JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc.
•    Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
•    Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
•    Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop.
•    Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
•    Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
•    Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
•    Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
•    Understanding of the Agile development life-cycle.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills.
