Job Title: SolidWorks PDM Administrator
Job Summary:
The SolidWorks PDM Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and upgrading the SolidWorks PDM environment, along with supporting application packaging and deployment through SCCM. The role ensures system stability, user support, and smooth upgrade execution across engineering and IT environments. Key
Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain SolidWorks PDM Professional (Vault configuration, workflows, permissions, templates).
• Plan and execute SolidWorks and PDM upgrades across server and client systems.
• Perform application packaging, testing, and deployment using SCCM.
• Coordinate with IT and engineering teams to ensure system compatibility and performance.
• Manage data backups, replication, and PDM system health.
• Troubleshoot and resolve PDM and client installation issues.
• Support user access management, license allocation, and version control.
• Document configurations, upgrade procedures, and deployment steps.
• Provide user training and technical support for SolidWorks PDM operations. Required
Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience in SolidWorks PDM Professional administration and configuration.
• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks and PDM upgrade processes.
• Hands-on experience in SCCM packaging, deployment, and software distribution.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
