Title: Workday - Subcontractor
Area(s) of responsibility
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Workday integrations for HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, and downstream applications.
- Build and maintain complex integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and web services.
- Develop and optimize Workday custom reports, advanced reports, matrix reports, and calculated fields to support business requirements.
- Analyze existing eTime integrations and recommend modernization or retirement strategies.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Business, and Technical teams to gather requirements and provide integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Support end-to-end testing, UAT, deployment, and post-production stabilization activities.
- Ensure data accuracy, security, compliance, and audit readiness across Workday integrations.
- Create and maintain technical design documents, integration specifications, and support documentation.
- Participate in integration architecture discussions and recommend best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–10 years of IT experience with at least 5+ years of Workday Integration experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Workday Studio
- Workday Reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite Reports)
- Calculated Fields
- EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)
- Core Connectors
- Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs)
- XML, XSLT, JSON, and data transformation techniques
- Experience integrating Workday with Payroll, Time Management, Benefits, and third-party applications.
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM business processes and security concepts.
- Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning of Workday integrations.
- Ability to work independently and interact with business stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PECI (Payroll Effective Change Interface).
- Experience supporting Time & Attendance/eTime retirement or migration projects.
- Knowledge of payroll integrations and downstream payroll systems.
- Exposure to Workday Extend, Prism Analytics, or other Workday modules.
- Workday Integration certification is a plus.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant Workday certifications would be an added advantage.
