Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Architect to drive the design, implementation, and technical governance of a Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution integrated with Microsoft PKI/Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS).

The Technical Architect will be responsible for providing hands-on technical leadership across ServiceNow ITOM capabilities, including Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping, and integrations with enterprise PKI platforms. The role requires close collaboration with Security, IAM, Infrastructure, Cloud, and DevSecOps teams to ensure successful delivery, operational readiness, and knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Lead the technical design and implementation of the ServiceNow Certificate Lifecycle Management solution.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to development and implementation teams.
  • Review solution designs, configurations, integrations, and technical deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and platform governance.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide resolution guidance.

ServiceNow ITOM

  • Lead implementation activities for ITOM Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping, and related modules.
  • Define and implement certificate discovery, inventory, ownership, and lifecycle management processes.
  • Establish certificate-to-CMDB relationships and data models.
  • Drive CMDB governance, reconciliation, and data quality improvements.
  • Configure monitoring, reporting dashboards, and certificate expiry notifications.
  • Lead integration efforts between ServiceNow and Microsoft ADCS.
  • Develop and oversee API-based integrations and automation workflows.
  • Work with Infrastructure and IAM teams to ensure seamless certificate provisioning and lifecycle automation.
  • Support testing, deployment, and production rollout activities.

Certificate Lifecycle Management & PKI

  • Design workflows for certificate request, issuance, renewal, revocation, and expiry management.
  • Support implementation of Certificate Lifecycle Management processes and controls.
  • Collaborate with Security and Infrastructure teams to define certificate governance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise PKI and certificate management policies.
