Title:  TOSCA Automation

Area(s) of responsibility

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for web-based applications.
• Design and execute test cases to validate application functionality and performance.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as SOAP UI, Postman, or equivalent.
• Validate backend functionalities through SQL queries and database checks.
• Work with schedulers like Tidal or DB for job monitoring and validation.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve defects.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases by adhering to QA best practices.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using TOSCA.
• Leverage TOSCA for model-based test automation and ensure compliance with automation standards.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of web-based technologies and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with SOAP UI, Postman, or REST API testing.
• Good understanding of SQL queries for backend testing.
• Familiarity with job schedulers (Tidal / DB).
• Basic knowledge of Linux for environment validation and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in TOSCA automation tool.
• TOSCA certification is highly desirable.
• Basic knowledge of SAP screens/processes to execute automation steps effectively (not required to be an SAP functional expert).
• Testing SAP modules using TOSCA (focus on TOSCA SAP engines, not SAP functional consulting).
• Understanding how to automate SAP GUI, SAP Fiori, and SAP Web-based modules within TOSCA.
• Creating and maintaining automated test cases using TOSCA for SAP transactions, screens, and workflows.
• Ability to distinguish automation approaches between SAP modules and Web applications within TOSCA (object identification, scanning, module structure, steering parameters, synchronization methods, etc.).
