Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Liferay Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Liferay-based solutions to meet our business needs. You will work closely with our IT team and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative solutions. Your expertise in Liferay DXP, Java/J2EE, and portal development will be crucial in driving our digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions using Liferay Portal and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new modules and features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Liferay applications.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Liferay Portal Development and Java/J2EE.
• Strong understanding of Liferay's architecture and APIs.
• Experience with Liferay DXP, Liferay Portal, Portlet API, Liferay UI components, and Liferay Service Builder.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Experience with Spring MVC, Hibernate, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Familiarity with database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Understanding of web server technologies like Apache Tomcat or JBoss.
• Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with Liferay's AlloyUI or Lexicon.
• Experience with Liferay's workflow and search capabilities.
• Understanding of Liferay's security features and integration capabilities.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
