Certification

A bit about who we are looking for:
Voya India is seeking an experienced Cobol Developer to join our Wealth Tech team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining modules as per skillset mentioned above. This role involves working closely with Tech lead, business analysts, SMEs and other stakeholders to meet business requirements. The person should possess strong technical skills and be capable of independently handling Cobol Batch assignment. Additionally, they should be involved in job scheduling, production support and QA support
What you’ll do
•
Analyse requirements, perform Impact analysis.
•
Convert the requirement to Tech design.
•
Develop, and perform Unit, Batch, System / Integration testing, Support QA/ UAT/ Prod Parallel testing
•
Meet Quality expectation and align to project processes & Documentation
What you’ll need
•
Hands-on experience on the above Cobol, JCL, VSAM, Omni, Linux Shell scripts
•
Good work ethics and the ability to complete tasks and deliverable under defined deadlines while maintaining flexibility
•
Agility to work on various projects allocations and work environment
•
Working in cross-functional projects

Excellent analytical, problem-solving and production support skills
•
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
