Title:  Technical Specialist

About the role:

As an SSIS Developer with over 4+ years of experience working with the platform, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). You will work with various data sources and destinations, ensuring efficient data movement and transformation to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers to support the ETL process.
• Experience working with SSIS packages
•  Design and develop SSIS/T-SQL ETL solutions to acquire and prepare data from various upstream systems.
• Build data transformations using SSIS, including importing data from files and transferring data between different database platforms.
• Debug and optimize SSIS or other ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient data movement.
• Design, implement, and maintain database objects such as tables, views, and indexes, as well as manage database security.
• Create Databases, Tables, Cluster/Non-Cluster Index, Unique/Check Constraints, Views, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions and views, Performance tuning of queries.
• Analyse and develop strategies for importing and transferring data between source systems, staging areas, and Data Warehouse destinations.
• Test and prepare ETL processes for deployment to both production and non-production environments.
• Collaborate with the business to design and deliver accurate, high-quality data. Investigate data to identify potential issues within ETL pipelines, notify end-users, and propose appropriate solutions.
• Gather requirements and business process knowledge to transform data in a way that meets the needs of end users.
• Maintain and enhance existing processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in designing and developing SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Experience with data transformations and data movement between different database platforms.
• Strong skills in debugging and optimizing ETL processes.
• Ability to gather requirements and design solutions based on business needs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
