Title:  Technical Specialist-Manual Testing

Area(s) of responsibility

Analyze business and functional requirements to create detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data

Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing

Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Quality Center

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues

Validate end-to-end workflows including UI, APIs (if applicable), and backend data flows

Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings

Ensure test coverage, test execution progress, and timely reporting to stakeholders

Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and production validation

Mentor junior testers and review their test artifacts

Continuously improve QA processes, documentation standards, and testing methodologies
