Title:  Technical Specialist-Testing Services

We are seeking a detail-oriented UFT Manual Tester with 3–4 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Manual Testing along with working knowledge of OpenText UFT (Unified Functional Testing) for test execution, understanding automated test scripts, and supporting automation initiatives.
The candidate will be responsible for validating application functionality, preparing test cases, executing test scenarios, identifying defects, and ensuring software quality throughout the testing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
•    Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
•    Create and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
•    Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, Smoke, and UAT testing.
•    Execute existing UFT automated test scripts and analyze results.
•    Validate application behavior across various environments.
•    Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
•    Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
•    Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
•    Prepare test execution reports and provide status updates.
•    Support production validation and post-release testing activities.
•    Ensure adherence to QA standards, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills
Core Skills
•    3–4 years of experience in Manual Testing.
•    Good understanding of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) and Defect Life Cycle.
•    Experience in Functional, Regression, System, Integration, and UAT Testing.
•    Hands-on experience in preparing Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Data.
•    Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as: 
o    JIRA
o    Azure DevOps
o    ALM/Quality Center
•    Experience executing UFT test suites and analyzing execution results.
•    Good understanding of test management processes and documentation.
•    Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
•    Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
Preferred Skills
•    Exposure to OpenText UFT/QTP automation framework.
•    Knowledge of VBScript and automation concepts.
•    Experience working in Agile/Scrum projects.
•    Exposure to API testing using Postman or SOAP UI.
•    Understanding of Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Telecom, or Retail domain applications.
