Job Overview

The Workday role is a critical position within our organization that focuses on managing and optimizing our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. The successful candidate will be responsible for the configuration, integration, and maintenance of our Workday system, ensuring it aligns with business processes and goals. This role requires a deep understanding of HR processes and data structures, as well as the ability to analyze, design, and configure Workday HCM solutions. The individual will work closely with HR and IT teams to provide solutions that enhance the user experience, improve system efficiency, and meet organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and configure Workday HCM solutions based on business requirements.
  • Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of Workday system upgrades or patches.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Provide support for Workday issues, including troubleshooting and resolving system, integration, and data issues.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Workday HCM, including Workday modules such as Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Talent Management.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and benefit procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data to identify issues and present solutions.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field is required.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Workday integrations, such as EIB, Core Connectors, and Studio.
  • Knowledge of Workday security and reporting.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Experience in data migration from legacy systems to Workday.
  • Understanding of Workday's implementation toolkit.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Experience in configuring business processes in Workday.
  • Knowledge of Workday's calculated fields.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
