Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate WMS Lead Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly in designing, implementing, and managing warehouse management systems. As the WMS Lead Developer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers, overseeing the software development lifecycle, and ensuring that our WMS solutions meet the needs of our business and our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership: Lead, mentor, and guide a team of developers in the design and implementation of WMS functionalities.
Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and design solutions that enhance WMS capabilities.
Architecture: Develop and maintain system architecture for WMS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Integration: Work on integrating WMS with other business systems, including ERP, transportation management systems, and other supply chain applications.
Quality Assurance: Implement and manage testing strategies to ensure high-quality code, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system designs, API specifications, and user manuals.
Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and resolve issues related to the WMS, optimizing system performance and minimizing downtime.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, and best practices, and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements to the WMS.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum [X] years of experience in software development, with a focus on WMS or related systems.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar.
Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle) and knowledge of data modeling.
Proficiency in WMS software and protocols, such as RF, RFID, and barcode scanning technologies.
Familiarity with cloud services and deployments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
Experience in Agile methodologies is preferred.
