Position Overview:
We are looking for a driven and strategic Account Director/Client Partner who excels in solution-based selling and possesses a proven track record in closing large and medium-sized fixed-price projects. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating complex sales processes, from RFP response to deal closure, and will thrive in a dynamic environment, where pursuing new business opportunities and fostering strong client relationships are paramount. The individual must be well connected in the industry such as large Life Sciences customers and relevant analysts etc. S/he must have managed minimum $10M annual book of business and should have demonstrable experience in scaling new accounts and close large deals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to pursue and acquire new customers within an account, leveraging a deep understanding of solutions and deal constructions.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and contract closure, for large and medium-sized fixed-price projects.
- Customer relationship management from presales to post-sales incl. stakeholder management, escalation management, change management, negotiation etc.
- PnL Management of the designated customers incl. top-line / revenue, order booking and margins.
- Travel extensively within the US and internationally as required, to meet with clients and prospects.
- Present innovative ideas and solutions to clients, effectively articulating value propositions and driving interest and engagement.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach in all interactions, ensuring that client perspectives and needs are prioritized in every transaction.
Qualifications:
- Experience in MedTech/Life Sciences Industry.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record in selling multi-tower deals covering Infra services, ERP, application modernization, cloud migration, PLM, and digital transformation solutions.
- Five or more years of experience in solution-based sales, with a strong background in deal constructions and closing fixed-price projects.
- Proven ability to pursue and acquire new business through proactive outreach and relationship building.
- Demonstrated success in presenting and selling new ideas and solutions to clients.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively without constraints, both domestically and internationally.
