Role Overview
We are urgently seeking a high-impact Sales Architect / Technical Sales with a strong technical foundation in Advanced Analytics, AI/ML, and Generative AI, combined with deep domain expertise in Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences. This is a Sales Architect / Technical Sales role focused on driving strategic growth, solutioning, and client engagement—not traditional sales. The ideal candidate will come from top-tier firms, and will bring a consultative mindset, technical credibility, and a proven ability to build trusted relationships with pharma clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow strategic client relationships within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector.
- Lead solutioning conversations around AI/ML, GenAI, and advanced analytics platforms tailored to pharma use cases (e.g., drug discovery, clinical trials, commercial analytics).
- Collaborate with delivery, product, and innovation teams to craft compelling proposals and architectures.
- Drive pipeline generation through thought leadership, client workshops, and executive-level engagement.
- Translate complex technical capabilities into business value for pharma stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in GenAI, real-world evidence, digital therapeutics, and regulatory tech.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 12+ years of experience in Pharma/Life Sciences with a strong technology focus.
- Proven track record in technical sales, solution architecture, or client partner roles.
- Deep understanding of pharma value chain: R&D, clinical, regulatory, and commercial.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms, GenAI tools, and cloud ecosystems (Azure, GCP, AWS).
- Strong consultative selling skills with ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
- Background in top-tier tech or consulting firms (Microsoft, GCP, Accenture, Avanade, etc.).
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive presence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Life Sciences, or related field.
- Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) or AI/ML frameworks.
- Experience with platforms like OpenAI, Vertex AI, Azure ML, or similar.
