Role: . Cloud Security Officer

Location: Madrid, Spain

Duration: 6 months

Experience and knowledge on:

At least 6 years of experience in virtualization and infrastructure management, with a strong focus on Nutanix and VMware technologies.

Technical / Functional Skills:
Key areas

· Deep expertise in virtualization platforms, especially Nutanix (AHV and Prism Central) and VMware vSphere (ESXi and vCenter).

· Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems in virtualized enterprise environments.

· Proficient in infrastructure automation and orchestration using Ansible, PowerShell, or Python.

Very nice to have:

· Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS) and hybrid infrastructure models is a plus.

· Familiarity with backup strategies and integration with virtualization platforms (e.g., snapshots, Druva, Commvault, or similar).

· Experience in patch management and vulnerability remediation in virtualized infrastructures, ideally using tools like Altiris, Suse Manager, Wiz or Nessus.

· Solid understanding of data center architecture, shared infrastructure, and networking concepts.

Experience with infrastructure monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning in virtualized environments.
