Job Overview
The AD & End Point role is a critical position within our IT department, responsible for managing and maintaining our Active Directory (AD) and endpoint security systems. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring the integrity, security, and high performance of these systems, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and implementing necessary updates or improvements. This role requires a deep understanding of AD and endpoint security, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain the MS Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, and security settings.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of a product, from inception to end-of-life.
• Handle bundling and configuration management, including managing and controlling changes in the software.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth operation of the organization's IT infrastructure.
Essential job tasks
Required Skills
• Proficiency in MS Active Directory: The candidate must have a strong understanding and hands-on experience with MS Active Directory, including managing user accounts, groups, and security settings.
• Product Life Cycle Management: The candidate should have experience in managing the entire lifecycle of a product, from inception to end-of-life.
• Bundling & Configuration Management: The candidate should have experience in bundling and configuration management, including the ability to manage and control changes in the software.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Network Security: Understanding of network security principles and management.
• Virtualization: Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
• Scripting: Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• ITIL: Understanding of ITIL processes and principles.
• Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Project Management: Experience in managing IT projects.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Required Experience
The candidate should have between 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the field.
