Test Analyst 
Location: Japan
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting rigorous testing before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs. This includes reviewing system requirements, tracking quality assurance metrics, and creating comprehensive test plans. The Test Analyst will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve any issues or bugs that arise, ensuring the highest level of product quality and reliability.
 

Essential job tasks

Responsibilities
•    Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various projects.
•    Identify, document, and track software defects found during testing.
•    Collaborate with the development team to ensure consistent project execution.
•    Analyze test results and provide regular progress reports to the project team.
Required Skills
•    Test Planning & Strategizing: The candidate must have a strong understanding of test planning and strategizing. This includes the ability to develop, implement, and maintain test plans for various projects.
•    Selenium: Proficiency in Selenium, a popular testing framework, is a must. The candidate should be able to write and execute Selenium test scripts.
•    Test Data Management (TDM): The candidate should have experience in managing and manipulating data required for system tests. This includes creating, executing, and maintaining test data sets.
•    A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Preferred Skills
•    Knowledge of other testing tools like JIRA, QTP, LoadRunner.
•    Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
•    Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
•    Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
•    Familiarity with performance and security testing.
•    Experience with mobile application testing.
•    Understanding of cloud technologies and testing in a cloud environment.
•    Familiarity with API testing.
•    Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
