Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging individual to fill the role of a Host/Hostess in our organization. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for a superior dining experience. The Host/Hostess will greet guests upon arrival, take their reservations or put them on a waiting list, give them menus and show them to their table. They will also handle phone calls and customer queries about the restaurant and menu, and assist various restaurant staff when necessary. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing disposition, and previous experience working as a host in the restaurant industry.
 

Essential job tasks

Responsibilities
•    Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure for the organization.
•    Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
•    Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
•    Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
Required Skills
•    Proficiency in MS Hyper V: The candidate must have a strong understanding and hands-on experience with MS Hyper V, a virtualization software that allows users to create and run a software version of a computer, called a virtual machine.
•    Expertise in VmWare ESXi: The candidate should have a deep knowledge of VmWare ESXi, a type-1 hypervisor that provides superior performance and robustness.
•    Proficiency in MS Azure-Support & Management: The candidate should have a strong understanding of MS Azure, a cloud computing service, and should be able to provide support and management for the same.
•    High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Preferred Skills
•    Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration
•    Familiarity with AWS Cloud Services
•    Understanding of SQL Server Management
•    Experience with Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop
•    Knowledge of Network Security and Firewalls
•    Familiarity with SAN/NAS Storage
•    Understanding of Load Balancing concepts
•    Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
•    Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages
•    Familiarity with ITIL processes
Required Experience
The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
