Azure Integration Architect
Role Summary
The Azure Integration Architect is responsible for end‑to‑end architecture, design, governance, and modernization of enterprise integration solutions on Microsoft Azure.
The role ensures scalable, secure, resilient, cost‑effective, and well‑governed integrations across on‑prem, cloud, SaaS, and partner ecosystems, aligned with enterprise architecture standards and Microsoft best practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Integration Architecture & Design
- Define enterprise integration architecture using Azure Integration Services.
- Design end‑to‑end integration patterns:
- Real‑time APIs
- Event‑driven integrations
- Batch/ETL integrations
- B2B/EDI integrations
- Hybrid integrations
- Create High‑Level Design (HLD) and Low‑Level Design (LLD) documents.
- Establish integration standards, naming conventions, design templates, and reference architectures.
- Ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Cloud Governance teams.
2. Azure Integration Platform Ownership
- Architect and govern the Azure Integration Platform / Landing Zone for integrations.
- Define platform capabilities covering:
- Connectivity
- Security
- Observability
- CI/CD
- Reusability
- Review and approve all integration solution designs.
- Drive Integration CoE (ICoE) enablement and adoption.
