Title: Specialist-Integrated Operations
Area(s) of responsibility
Core Responsibilities
- Architectural Engineering: Architect, deploy, and fine-tune complex WebLogic domains and Apache web server clusters for high-concurrency environments.
- Advanced Migration: Execute end-to-end WebLogic to Cloud (AWS) migrations, including legacy re-platforming, lift-and-shift, and cloud-native re-architecting.
- Infrastructure Optimization: Lead AWS IaaS management (VPC networking, IAM security, EC2/EKS auto-scaling, and RDS high-availability).
- Performance Engineering: Implement and optimize Redis distributed caching strategies to handle extreme load and minimize database latency.
- Mission-Critical Support: Act as the final point of escalation for production incidents. You must be available 24/7 to join high-priority calls instantly, performing deep-dive troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) under pressure.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop complex shell, Python, or Groovy scripts to automate deployment pipelines, server health monitoring, and log aggregation.
Advanced Technical Qualifications
- Middleware Mastery: Deep expertise in WebLogic 12c/14c (Admin/Managed Server configuration, JMS tuning, WLST scripting) and Apache/NGINX (mod_proxy/mod_jk, SSL/TLS termination, load balancing).
- AWS Expertise: Advanced command of AWS IaaS, including infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation), network peering, private link, and AWS monitoring (CloudWatch/X-Ray).
- Caching & Data: Extensive experience with Redis cluster management (persistence, replication, eviction policies) and advanced SQL/NoSQL database concepts (query optimization, deadlocks, connection pool tuning).
