Area(s) of responsibility
- Setting up a high availability environment using external hardware F5 load balancer, Apache httpd, Nginx web server, and troubleshoot middleware technologies (WebLogic, Tomcat, etc.).
- Monitor middleware performance, capacity, and availability, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.
- Participate in incidents, problems, and change management activities using ServiceNow.
- Analyze and resolve production issues in a timely manner, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain middleware documentation, configuration standards, and knowledge base articles.
- Support security compliance, patching, and upgrades for middleware components.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Splunk, Newrelic).
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in 24x7 production support environments (if required) and Provide on-call support as part of a rotational schedule.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, Python, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes.
