Business Analyst Lead

Birlasoft is currently looking for a seasoned Business Analyst Lead to drive the successful implementation of PTC Windchill across enterprise PLM initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), hands-on experience with Windchill modules, and a strong background in business process analysis, stakeholder engagement, and solution delivery.

The expectation is this person would have 6 to 8 years of experience

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

  • Lead business analysis activities for Windchill implementation projects, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to define and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
  • Facilitate workshops and interviews with cross-functional teams to understand current processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with solution architects and developers to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
  • Support UAT planning, execution, and defect triaging.
  • Act as a liaison between business and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance on PLM best practices and Windchill capabilities.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of BA standards and templates.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:  

• Prior experience with Medical Device industry a major plus

  • experience in business analysis, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
  • Strong experience in PTC Windchill implementation projects (e.g., PDMLink, MPMLink, ProjectLink, Windchill Quality Solutions).
  • Solid understanding of PLM processes including BOM management, change management, document control, and product data governance.
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, and Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
