Title: Looker Developer

Location: Pune/Mumbai/Bangalore/Noida/Hyderabad

Educational Background : Masters/Professional Degree

Key Responsibilities:

LookML Development & Data Modeling:

  • Develop LookML models, explores, joins, and PDTs for scalable analytics.
  • Optimize query performance using Aggregate Awareness, Datagroups, and caching strategies.
  • Use Liquid Variables, User Attributes, and Custom Dimensions for dynamic content.

Dashboard & Visualization Development:

  • Build interactive dashboards with advanced custom visualization techniques.
  • Implement Table Calculations, Custom Fields, Cross-filtering, and Drill-throughs.
  • Ensure performance optimization using caching, indexing, and query tuning.

Looker API & Automation:

  • Integrate Looker via Looker API, SDKs, and Embedded Analytics.
  • Automate reports, scheduling, and alerts.
  • Implement SSO, OAuth, Row-Level Security (RLS), and governance best practices.

Performance Optimization & Advanced Features:

  • Optimize dashboards with Materialized Views, Incremental PDTs, and Query Partitioning.
  • Implement Looker Extensions, Looker Studio Integration, and Data Actions.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git) for Looker projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Expertise in LookML, SQL, and data warehousing ( AWS - Redshift ).
  • Proficiency in  Looker API, and advanced visualization techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of security & governance (SSO, OAuth, RBAC, RLS).
  • Experience in embedding Looker dashboards and Looker API-driven automation.
  • Basic scripting knowledge in Python (preferred).
