JD for Windchill Test Lead

 Responsibilities:

Reviews client requirement and provides feedback

Responsible for creating test plans and strategy

Reviews and re-evaluates the test strategy to adjust for new information, changing risks, shifting priorities, and schedules

Plan and conduct system integration testing and in-sprint testing

Oversees testing delivery to make sure work is scheduled based on priorities, risks and team strengths and assignment of resources across projects

Participates in Go/No-Go meetings in different phases of SDLC

Create execution plan and report execution progress with Metrices

Perform exploratory testing to ensure zero defect leakage to UAT

Conduct defect triage meeting to ensure correct RCAs, severity, priority are assigned to defects

Leads/mentors Test Engineers and shares knowledge to make sure QA staff meets technical qualifications required for their positions

Create automation plan and ensure right automation candidates are picked by the team

Qualifications

12+ years’ Experience in manual testing various applications, services and user interfaces

5+ years’ experience as Test Lead

Domain expertise- Must have PLM Windchill Testing experience

Manual testing expertise

Experience managing a team of QA Engineers

Experience in communicating with clients

Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices

Understanding of Agile and Waterfall processes

Understanding of user interface design

Strong knowledge of software quality assurance best practices & methodologies

Familiarity with various defect management systems
